Manager Fleet Operations

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing and managing the company's vehicle fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance with regulations. The Fleet Manager will supervise drivers, monitor fuel consumption, manage repairs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to maximize fleet efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily fleet operations and scheduling.
2. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
3. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
4. Coordinate repairs, insurance claims, and routine maintenance.
5. Implement fleet cost control and optimization strategies.
6. Supervise drivers and provide regular performance feedback.
7. Manage fleet acquisition, disposal, and renewal plans.

Skills Required:

1. Strong leadership and team management.
2. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
3. Knowledge of fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete, Teletrac).
4. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Good communication and negotiation skills.
6. Understanding of vehicle maintenance and logistics operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in contracting, logistics, or transportation sectors.
3. Valid driving license.
4. Certifications in Fleet Management (optional but preferred).
5. Industry: Contracting / Logistics / Transportation / Telecom, etc.
