Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Manager – Internal Audit to lead and execute internal audit functions across retail and operational environments. This role focuses on strengthening internal controls, ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and driving process improvements to support business performance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual internal audit planEvaluate internal controls across finance, inventory, procurement, and store operations
  
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and labour lawsIdentify and assess risks including inventory shrinkage, sales discrepancies, and vendor risks
  
• Conduct and supervise store, warehouse, and vendor auditsInvestigate fraud, irregularities, and control breaches
  
• Review and finalize audit reports with actionable recommendationsPresent audit findings and insights to senior management
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance frameworks
• Mentor and guide audit team members to ensure best practices
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CIMA will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in retail, FMCG, or multi-location operations

• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk managementGood understanding of retail operations and compliance requirements
