Manager MM
We are looking for an experienced Purchase & Materials Management professional to lead procurement activities and ensure the uninterrupted availability of raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, consumables, and bought-out items across our Textile, Aqua, and Poultry product lines.
The role focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory optimization, cost control, and procurement excellence while supporting production continuity and new product development.
What you’ll do;
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure timely procurement of materials in line
with production requirements.
- Develop sourcing strategies to achieve quality,
cost, and delivery objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage supplier
relationships and performance.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and
delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through
strategic sourcing, value engineering, and should-cost analysis.
- Prepare and maintain material cost sheets and
support costing for new product development (NPD).
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum
stock availability.
- Support procurement activities for CAPEX
projects.
- Ensure accurate procurement transactions and
documentation in SAP MM.
- Generate and analyze procurement MIS reports to
support decision-making.
- Coordinate supplier audits and ensure timely
closure of CAPA actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies,
statutory regulations, and ISO standards.
Requirements
Qualification:
Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
Experience:
12–18 years in Purchase / Materials Management.
Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
