Partnership Manager
Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project
The incumbent will be employed by and report to the Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project (Yangon, Myanmar).
Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project is seeking a committed Christian leader to serve as Partnership Manager, providing leadership to a team of Partnership Facilitators working alongside local church partners across Myanmar.
This role is responsible for strengthening church ownership, building church capacity, and supporting churches to effectively minister to children and youth within their communities. The Partnership Manager will lead partnership management efforts, support implementation of program and project-cycle activities, and foster strong relationships with churches from diverse denominational backgrounds.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing effective church partnerships and strengthening the capacity of local churches to deliver sustainable ministry impact.
What Will You Do?
Leadership and Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partnership Facilitators.
Establish team goals and performance expectations.
Foster a culture of professional growth, accountability, and continuous learning.
Support staff performance through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.
Church Partnership Management
Lead staff in building strong relationships with local church partners.
Support churches through facilitation of needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
Guide the application of church partnership and maturation approaches to strengthen local ownership and sustainability.
Ensure partnership activities align with established partnership management processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build collaborative relationships with pastors, church leaders, denominational leaders, project committees, and church networks.
Work closely with peer managers and internal support teams to strengthen services provided to church partners.
Advocate for the needs and priorities of church partners.
Program and Project Cycle Leadership
Support effective implementation of project-cycle activities and partnership strategies.
Monitor progress toward church and youth development outcomes.
Review work plans, field reports, church feedback, and monitoring data to improve ministry effectiveness.
Ensure church partners receive appropriate support, resources, and training opportunities.
Child Protection
Promote and uphold child protection principles in all ministry activities.
Ensure staff and stakeholders understand child protection responsibilities throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Support safe environments for children and youth in all partnership activities.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Theology, Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum five (5) years of leadership or management experience.
Experience working with churches, faith-based organizations, community development programs, or non-profit organizations.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Experience building and managing partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in project cycle management, program implementation, or community development initiatives is preferred.
Experience working with church partners across Myanmar is highly desirable.
Language
Advanced Burmese language skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate professionally.
English communication skills are an advantage.

Travel Requirements
Occasional travel within Myanmar may be required based on ministry and partnership needs.
