Manager, Operations (Security Systems) | West
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct maintenance operations across all facilities to maximize equipment uptime, fulfill service level agreements (SLAs), and optimize workforce deployment.
- Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs), analyse technical failure trends to execute corrective actions, and improve resource efficiency.
- Oversee assets and inventory, manage departmental budgets, maintain precise compliance documentation, and enforce rigorous health and safety standards.
- Cultivate strategic stakeholder relationships through regular performance reviews and proactive communication to ensure service alignment.
- Mentor and develop personnel to cultivate high-performing teams capable of delivering operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems, Video Management Systems (e.g. Hikvision, Milestone), Access Control Systems (e.g. Gallagher, Honeywell), PSIM Platforms, networking fundamentals, Windows Server and virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices for security systems.
- Diploma in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines, with ITIL certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management, experience working closely with project teams with long-term maintenance viability in mind, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable with the occasional standby/ work outside normal office hours to support planned deployments, maintenance activities and unforeseen operational requirements, in accordance with business needs.
