Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- To manage and drive value add improvement for procurement of Wuxisite Backend materials, including material localizations projects with cross functional team.
- Executes procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of backend and frame power module materials in Wuxi.
- Manage delivery escalations to to ensure the direct material supply chain.
- Enforcement of purchasing control via implementation of all relevant purchasing processes and methods within Infineon.
- Supplier sourcing, qualification and evaluation according to established supplier management process for defined local managed categories
- Drive strategic supplier management program through implementation of Vendor Performance Review towards achieving overall target for Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree/Master in Business Admin (BA), Economics or Engineering with good BA knowledge and experience.
- Good knowledge of purchasing/business administration/planning processes, tools and methods.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills is a prerequisite.
- Cross functional team experience preferred
- Operation knowledge on material order process, vendor portfolio management, payment terms, in coterm
- Sourcing: New product and supplier sourcing, alternate source, change management
- Supplier Management: Supplier Qualification & Improvement, Supplier Evaluation, supplier audit and vendor performance review, etc.
- Contract Management: New contract creation, alignment, maintenance and obsoletion.
- Methods and Tools: SAP MM, SAP mybuy, Supplier Strategy, Negotiation, etc.
