Manager, Tax Compliance
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance & Reporting
• Manage tax reporting and compliance, including CIT, VAT, FCT, PIT and transfer pricing requirements.
• Perform periodic tax health checks and proactively identify tax exposures and remediation actions.
2. Tax Advisory & Governance
• Provide day-to-day tax advice to internal stakeholders and support the development of tax-compliant processes and controls.
• Monitor tax-related transactions and business structures and advise on compliant and tax-efficient approaches.
3. Tax Audit & Authority Management
• Lead tax audit and inspection activities and coordinate responses, supporting documents and remediation actions.
• Manage relationships and communications with local tax authorities and external tax advisors.
4. Tax Risk Management & Regulatory Updates
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the company.
• Strengthen tax governance, documentation, controls and standardization across relevant processes.
5. Additional Support to Management
• Perform ad-hoc tax projects and other assignments as directed by the Senior Manager, Finance and regional/group tax management.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 08 years of relevant tax experience in a multinational organization professional services firm.
- Typically requires 3+ years managerial/leadership experience
- Experience in EPE manufacturing and/or Big 4 tax practice is preferred.
- Prior experience handling tax audits/inspections and working with tax authorities is preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations, including CIT, VAT, FCT, PIT and transfer pricing, and good understanding of Vietnam accounting standards.
- Good understanding of customs and EPE-related regulations is a plus.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across functions and support colleagues.
- Able to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, quality-focused and action-oriented.
- Good command of MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems; Oracle experience is preferred.

- Working in office, full time/ Manufacturing company.
- Working under high pressure, with independent thinking and an active in working.
