Marine Manager
The Position
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Marine Manager to be based in our Head Office in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the assigned fleet, in full accordance with international regulations, company policies, and the highest industry standards. The role provides leadership and guidance to the Marine Superintendents and serves as the principal point of contact, both internally and externally, for all marine operations, safety, vetting, and regulatory compliance matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar shore-based management role
- Master Mariner CoC with senior sailing experience on bulkers/containers
- In-depth knowledge of ISM, ISPS, ISO, and RightShip requirements
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Proven track record in managing Rightship inspection vetting processes and achieving positive inspection
- High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Multitasking skills
- Excellent communication/report writing skills
- Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
