Marketing Coordinator
KPFF is hiring a full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our structural engineering division in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate is ambitious, thoughtful, creative, and detail-oriented. This role will compile content, maintain consistency across channels, and help create materials and collateral to support our firm's qualification, proposal, pursuit, recruiting, and marketing initiatives. This full-time, in-person position focuses heavily on copyediting and content coordination and interacts with all levels of the firm, as well as clients and subconsultants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, copyedit, and format subconsultant qualification requests and client deliverables
- Support development of proposal submissions through direct collaboration with technical staff, project managers, and other marketing team members
- Maintain the marketing database (Cosential); input and update client, project, and other supporting information
- Maintain content library, including previous proposals, boilerplates, and visuals
- Prepare and create written and graphic materials for internal and external audiences; including presentations, advertisements, articles, brochures, press releases, and other promotional collateral
- Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements
- Support internal communications efforts
- Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, videographers, etc.)
- Maintain staff registrations and professional staff licensures
- Assist in the coordination of internal events (quarterly meetings, annual community and client events, food drives, internal company culture events, exhibits and conferences)
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Education, Business or other relevant major OR a related combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in marketing; architecture, engineering, or construction industries are a plus
- Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and document production skills; strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Experience capturing and maintaining data in a database (Cosential, or similar system such as Salesforce, and Ajera, or Deltek a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn

- Base pay range of $31.00 - $36.00/per hour, based on qualifications and prior experience
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half with regular opportunity for overtime available
