Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Solect Energy is a leading commercial solar and energy storage company serving businesses, schools, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations in the Northeast. Our team designs, develops, installs, finances, and maintains renewable energy systems that help organizations manage energy costs and meet their sustainability goals.

We are seeking an experienced B2B marketing professional who combines strong marketing fundamentals with creativity, analytical thinking, and a passion for applying marketing technology to join our marketing operations team. This position plays an integral role in demand generation by building and maintaining high-quality prospect data, developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, creating compelling B2B content, managing marketing technology platforms, and measuring marketing performance.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building and maintaining prospect data, writing a customer success story, creating an email campaign, analyzing campaign results, planning an industry event, and leveraging marketing technology and AI.

Key Accountabilities

Demand Generation:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated B2B marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and support business growth.
  • Implement demand generation initiatives across multiple marketing channels, including email, social media, paid advertising, industry events, and the company website.
  • Measure campaign and program performance, analyze results, and recommend continuous improvements to maximize marketing effectiveness.

Prospect Data Management:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality prospect data to support business development and demand generation initiatives.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy, completeness, and organization of prospect and customer data within Salesforce CRM.

Content Development:

  • Create compelling B2B digital marketing content that supports demand generation, customer engagement, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
  • Distribute and manage content across multiple channels, including email, social media, and the company and partner websites. This includes customer success stories, sales collateral, and other marketing communications.
  • Leverage marketing technology and AI to productively create high quality digital content that simplifies the communication of complex business, policy, and energy topics.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in B2B marketing, sales, marketing operations, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of demand generation strategies and tactics, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, industry events, websites, and digital content.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing technology platforms to develop target audiences, execute campaigns, maintain prospect and customer data, and measure and report campaign performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong B2B writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical, business, policy, and energy-related concepts into clear and compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze campaign and program performance data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing prospect data, campaign audiences, digital content, and marketing performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established marketing priorities, processes, brand standards, and approval requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and social media management platforms.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing productivity, content development, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in renewable energy, clean technology, sustainability, or another technical B2B industry.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $80,000 - $108,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
