Mechanical Design R&D Engineer
Location: West Region
Support the development of new products and manufacturing solutions by turning design ideas into practical, testable, and production-ready concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical concepts, prototypes, and design solutions for R&D projects.
- Convert product requirements into 3D models, technical drawings, and design specifications.
- Evaluate fit, function, material performance, and manufacturability during the design stage.
- Plan design verification activities and assess test results for improvement.
- Conduct technical research, including patent reviews, to support design originality.
- Coordinate project activities and deliver design outputs within committed timelines.
- Follow company safety, environmental, and workplace procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical product development or R&D.
- Experience in mechanical component design, material selection, and design for manufacturability.
- Proficient in 3D CAD, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design calculations.
