Merchant Account Executive – Payment Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for a Payment Merchant Relationship Executive to manage and develop relationships with our merchants.

This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys meeting customers, understanding their business needs and providing suitable payment solutions. Candidates with sales experience and payment/fintech industry knowledge are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing merchants.
• Meet merchants face-to-face and conduct regular business visits.
• Understand merchants’ business needs and recommend suitable payment solutions.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Follow up with merchants throughout the onboarding and activation process.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance and Technical teams to resolve merchant issues.
• Assist merchants with payment-related matters, including transactions, settlement, refunds and chargebacks.
• Support new merchant acquisition and business development activities.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure a good merchant experience.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or Relationship Management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with face-to-face client meetings and business development.
• Sales-oriented and able to build long-term client relationships.
• Payment / fintech / PSP / acquiring experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB and payment processes is an advantage.
• Good understanding of merchants’ business needs and ability to identify opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
