Mid-level fullstack JavaScript engineer (4-6 years) in Stockholm on a 6-month hybrid contract (2-3 days onsite) to build and maintain transactional communication templates and workflows, migrate email components into a shared repository, and support partner product integrations using React, Node.js, HTML/CSS.
emagine is looking for a driven Mid-Level Fullstack JavaScript Engineer (4-6 years) to support increased transactional communications and ongoing product scaling initiatives. The role focuses on building and maintaining templates, workflows, and communication components, including migration of email components into a centralized repository and supporting feature development for strategic partner products.
Start: ASAP (or within 1 month)
Duration: 6 months, extension possible
Location: Stockholm, 2-3 days/week at the office
About the assignment
Develop and maintain transactional communication templates and workflows (e.g. dunning flows)
Migrate and refactor email components into a shared repository
Support scaling and enhancement of partner product integrations and features
Build responsive UI components and ensure consistent cross-device behaviour
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical improvements
Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and marketing stakeholders in an agile environment
Your profile
Strong JavaScript experience with modern frameworks (React, Node.js)
Solid understanding of responsive design, CSS media queries, and component refactoring
Experience building scalable frontend and backend functionality
Ability to work independently on complex tasks and contribute to technical decisions
Experience working cross-functionally in agile teams
HTML email development experience
experience with monitoring and collaboration tools such as Datadog, SentinelOne, and Figma
