Multiple Cyber Security Roles - Risk, Architect & Testing

We are hiring multiple Lead-level opportunities with our valued client in the telecommunications sector.

• Contract: 6 months with possible extension
• Day Rate: $700 inclusive of superannuation
• Location: Anywhere in Australia
• Number of Positions: 5 positions per role

Please share which role you would like to apply for and briefly outline your relevant experience and key skills.

1. Lead Security Architect
   • Define secure solution architectures, security controls, patterns and guidelines aligned with security policies and standards.
   • Partner with business, engineering and architecture teams to assess security risks and influence secure technology decisions.
   Key Skills: Enterprise security architecture and security controls expertise; strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior/executive stakeholders on complex security matters.
2. Lead Risk Assessor
   • Lead cyber security risk assessments across projects and identify security gaps and risks.
   • Communicate complex technical risks in clear business terms and support informed risk decisions and remediation.
   Key Skills: Strong cyber security risk assessment and GRC experience, including ISO, PCI, NIST and E8; ability to translate complex technical risks into clear, practical business outcomes and recommendations.
3. Lead Security Testing
   • Lead complex security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and secure code reviews.
   • Identify and validate critical vulnerabilities, exploit paths and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable business risks.
   Key Skills: Advanced security testing, vulnerability assessment and application security expertise; strong knowledge of SAST, SCA, vulnerability scanners, secure development, threat modelling and CI/CD security.
