Role – .Net developer with Azure experience

Location – Sydney/Melbourne,Australia

Mode: Contract (6 Months extendable)

Job Description-

Lead end-to-end design and development of enterprise Web APIs and backend services using .NET
Provide technical guidance, architecture direction, and code reviews
Design and build scalable solutions using Azure services (Func Apps, Service Bus, etc.)
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust API solutions
Ensure best practices in RESTful API design, performance, security, and DevOps
Lead integration patterns across systems using messaging and event-driven architectures
Mentor and support developers to grow team capability
Drive design discussions, estimates, and manage technical risks
Ensure system reliability, observability, and scalability

Skills & Experience

Strong experience in .NET / C# for backend development
Proven experience building REST APIs and enterprise integration layers
Hands-on experience with Azure (Func Apps, Service Bus, APIM preferred)
Strong expertise in MS SQL, data modelling, and performance optimization
Experience with Redis (or distributed caching technologies) preferred
Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated testing
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
