Network Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. You will play a key role in supporting the organizations day-to-day network needs, collaborating with other IT professionals, and implementing network enhancements as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience in network administration, including working with network hardware and software.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• Knowledge of VPN technologies, network security protocols, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid network setups.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work outside of regular office hours during critical incidents or maintenance windows.
• Must be able to lift and move network equipment when necessary.
