Network and Security Engineer

Job Description:

Essential

At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Security, Networks as Senior Engineers with large enterprise / Data center environments.

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications / Degree Educated (engineering or Computer science).

Firewall, Security, Remote access (Juniper, Checkpoint Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)

Routing and Switching, Expert hands-on BGP, MPLS, VRFs, VPNs, Spanning Tree, etc

Public Cloud Azure

Data Centre, Edge Network, Hosting, Virtualization

Load Balancing, F5 (LTM, GTM) iRules expert knowledge, SSL off Loading in the multi-tier application environment, proxy servers

Must have experience with virtualization

Expert knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards

Deep technical knowledge of AZURE

Project delivery and management experience

Excellent communications skills, documentation Visio, etc

Excellent teamwork and the ability to work within an Agile environment.

Industry certifications:

o Cisco CCNP, CCIE (Security, Network)

o Juniper JNCIS, JNCIE

o CISSP

o AZURE Certificate

High desirable

· Programming/scripting skills e.g. (C / Unix shell, REST API, Python, JavaScript, Bash PowerShell/PowerCLI, PHP, SQL).
