Network Engineer (Data Center Network)

Our client is a leading internet company and currently actively look for Network Engineer (Data Center Network).

As a Network Engineer, you will develop network architecture that supports the high bandwidth and low latency requirements of products and services. As part of the team, you will ensure that data center network is always efficient, robust, scalable, and secure.

Job Description

• Perform network design, planning and setup of network Infrastructure based on technical requirement

• Provide overall solution proposal with High Level Design (HLD) and BU presentation
• Drive network optimisation to improve convergence, performance and latency
• Maintain updated schematic diagrams for infrastructure and low-level architecture design diagram
• Proof of concept testing on customisation network solution
• Manage the inventory of network devices
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, procedures and service records
• Provide network operation support, problem determination, network incidents troubleshooting and escalate to vendors/management accordingly
• Participate and provide technical support in network implementation projects wherever and whenever required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in deploying massive scale data center network
• Strong technical knowledge on switching and routing such as VLAN, STP, VPC/MLAG, HSRP/VRRP, NAT, IPSec, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN and Segment Routing
• Hands on experience in either Arista, Cisco, Huawei, Mellanox, A10, Fortinet and Palo Alto
• Experience in AI SuperPod architecture design and implementation is added advantage
• Experience in Linux system administration and coding such as Ansible, Python
• Network related certification (e.g CCNP/CCIE) is a plus
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external parties
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage
• Required to provide on-call support occasionally
