Network Security Engineer

Key responsibilities

Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure.
Manage and support security solutions in a financial environment, ensuring high availability and security.
Perform incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of network security issues.
Implement security policies, configurations, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.
Coordinate with internal IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams when required.
Support security incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in network engineering and application delivery.
Routing & switching: Solid background in Cisco networking. CCNA/CCNP certification is a strong plus.
Strong hands-on operational experience with:

• Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls
• Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
• F5 Load Balancers
• Forescout NAC – Good to have
• Proofpoint Email Security / Mail Gateway – Good to have

Candidate must hold at least two relevant professional certifications at the time of joining.
Certifications related to network security, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Forescout, Proofpoint, or other relevant cybersecurity technologies are preferred.
