Network Security Engineer
You design, coordinate, implement, and audit network security controls in a hybrid compute environment. You deploy firewalls, VPN, SASE, NDR, and IDS solutions, reduce network risks through segmentation and port security, analyze packet captures, automate security operations, and improve detection and response to security events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with security, technology, and trading teams
- Design and deploy system integrity and trading performance solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain trading infrastructure
- Reduce network risks through micro-segmentation and port-based security
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement network security solutions
- Deploy firewalls, NDR, IPS, and VPN concentrators
- Use automation and AI to improve security event detection and response
- Analyze network packet captures
- Identify network security improvements
- Automate and streamline security operations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with firewalls
- Client VPN experience
- SASE experience
- NDR experience
- IDS experience
- Knowledge of TCP, UDP, IP, and the OSI Model
- Knowledge of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 principles
- Scripting and coding skills
- Availability for on-call duties including nights and weekends
