Network Security Engineer (Full-Time) #IAC

Design, configure, and deploy LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and other network components.
Install and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network availability and reliability.
Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
Document network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests.
Stay current with emerging networking technologies and trends.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
Experience with network security tools and best practices.
Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems is a plus.
Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA are preferred.
