Network Security Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network and web application security solutions.
- Implement and support F5 solutions, including LTM, ASM/AWAF, DDoS Protection, and F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) DDoS services.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Imperva security solutions, including WAF, DDoS Protection, and API Security.
- Configure and optimize WAAP (Web Application & API Protection) solutions to safeguard web applications and APIs.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely mitigation of cyber threats.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and security-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to implement security best practices and ensure solution availability.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guides.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network and cybersecurity.
- Strong experience with:F5 (LTM, ASM/AWAF, DDoS Protection)F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) DDoSWAAP (Web Application & API Protection) technologiesImperva (WAF, DDoS Protection, API Security)
- Experience in implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting web application security solutions.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, attack mitigation techniques, and incident response.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified, Imperva, or other cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage
