Office Manager and HR Liaison
Job Summary
Manages general office operations to support the company's day-to-day functions. Serves as the primary on-site point of contact for HR-related matters, partnering with Corporate HR on onboarding, benefits, and payroll administration for the location.
Essential Job Functions
Office & Records Management
- Plans and manages office systems, layout, equipment procurement, and supply inventory to maintain efficiency.
- Designs and oversees filing and information management systems, including record retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal procedures.
- Oversees maintenance and repair of office machinery, equipment, and related electrical/mechanical systems.
HR Liaison Duties
- Manages office staff personnel activities, including, recruiting, HR onboarding, Kronos payroll, and vacation/benefits administration
- Coordinates activities of clerical staff, assigning and monitoring workload
- Serves as the location's resource for HR-related matters — new hires, onboarding, benefits, and safety — partnering with Corporate HR and participating in site safety committees
Operations & Reporting
- Prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to keep management informed, identifying trends and flagging issues
- Analyzes internal processes and recommends/implements procedural or policy improvements (e.g., supply management, records disposal)
- Plans, administers, and controls budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of office management experience
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
