Operations Analyst – Corporate Actions

Location: Changi Business Park
Salary: Up to S$3,000/month

Job Summary

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to support the Corporate Actions team within a leading financial institution. The role involves end-to-end processing of corporate action events, securities settlement activities, reconciliations, exception handling, and operational support.

This position is suitable for candidates with experience or exposure in securities operations, corporate actions, asset servicing, settlements, investment operations, trade support, or banking operations.

Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end processing of corporate action events, including dividends, rights issues and other entitlement events.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of post-trade, payment and settlement activities.
Review reconciliations, exception reports and outstanding breaks, and investigate discrepancies where required.
Liaise with custodians, brokers, counterparties and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding operational issues.
Ensure transactions are processed in accordance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements and change initiatives relating to Corporate Actions.
Support the implementation of new products, markets and regulatory changes.
Maintain accurate operational records and supporting documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting or a related discipline preferred.
Experience or exposure in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Asset Servicing, Settlements, Investment Operations, Fund Operations or Banking Operations will be advantageous.
Familiarity with dividends, rights issues, securities transactions, reconciliations or settlement processes is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately within operational deadlines.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general banking/operations systems.
Entry-level candidates with relevant internship or financial-services operations exposure may be considered.
