Job Description

The Operations Manager reports directly to the designated Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence (ICCE) Operations Director for Anesthesia. Under limited supervision, this position provides operational leadership, project management, and data-driven analyses to support the achievement of clinical, operational, and financial goals within the ICCE. The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering accurate, reliable, standardized, and actionable analyses, including contribution margin and operational performance metrics, to inform strategic decision-making and organizational priorities.

Serving as a key operational partner, the Operations Manager collaborates closely with the ICCE System Administrative Officer, ICCE Chief, ICCE Operations Director, and the Director of MUHA Anesthesia Providers & Support Personnel to develop, implement, and sustain initiatives that advance operational excellence, quality outcomes, provider engagement, and organizational growth across the MUSC Health System.

This position functions as a strategic resource to ICCE leadership by supporting the development, execution, and operationalization of strategic business plans. Responsibilities include interpreting market, financial, and operational data; identifying opportunities for process improvement and performance enhancement; and translating strategic objectives into actionable operational and project plans.

Additionally, the Operations Manager leads and manages complex operational initiatives and special projects assigned by ICCE leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with system goals and performance expectations. Through effective stakeholder engagement, change management, and continuous process improvement, this role contributes to the overall success and growth of the Anesthesia ICCE.

Additional Job Description

Education: Master's degree in health administration or business administration. Experience: 3-5 years progressive work experience
