Operations Manager – Mining / Explosives
Overview
Responsible for managing operations, ensuring safe delivery of services, and supporting technical and project execution within mining environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities and logistics
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Coordinate project implementation and delivery
- Engage with customers to understand operational needs
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
- Support technical services and product application
- Train and support teams and clients on solutions
- Ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements
Requirements & Experience
- Degree in Mining / Chemical Engineering or similar
- 5+ years experience in mining or explosives environment
- Strong operational and technical understanding
- Experience in drill & blast or mining services
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing projects and operations
- Knowledge of safety standards in mining
- Ability to work on-site and in remote locations
