about the job
- Develop and implement automated inspection by means of Machine Vision,
- Image Processing and Machine Learning technologies
- Development, analysis, testing and optimization of image processing algorithms
- Validate, and deploy computer vision data flows using open-source tools and proprietary tools such as MVTec Halcon and OpenCV
- Respond to technical issues at customer’s manufacturing site
skills & experience required
- PhD / Master / Degree in optics / optical Sciences / laser & photonics / precision engineeirng / applied physics / metrology engineer / Computer Science
- Min 4 years of experience in Optics / Optoelectronics design for consumer electronics will be consider for senior role
- Deep understanding of optics theory, especially the design of AOI lighting system
- Proficiency in programming vision systems : VB, C++, C#, Python
- Familiar with AI/ML algorithms
- Able to travel to overseas for work assignment (APAC - 30%)
