Platform Engineer - Site Reliability & Infrastructure
You will build the foundation for Verisoul to scale, guaranteeing uptime, optimizing costs, and making the developer experience seamless. You'll take ownership of infrastructure and reliability, working closely with engineering, product, and founders to align infrastructure decisions with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Scale systems from 10K RPS to 1M RPS
- Lead SRE efforts and maintain system health
- Automate incident management and ensure uptime at scale
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to make releasing code fast, safe, and automated
- Own the cloud environment and drive performance while optimizing costs
- Manage security architecture and compliance workflows
- Create dashboards and monitoring for real-time system insight
- Collaborate with Engineering & Product to improve release velocity
- Align infrastructure decisions with founders on business goals
Requirements
- 4+ years of managing cloud infra for live, production-grade apps
- Automation mindset for deployments, provisioning (IaC), and monitoring
- Ability to scale systems without spiraling cloud bills
- Must be in-person in Austin, TX
