  • Act as discipline focal point for all electrical design and drafting activities.
  • Review and approve electrical design deliverables prepared by design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and relevant international codes.
  • Extensive design activities in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Lead development and review of single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, interconnection diagrams, and electrical installation details.
  • Lead development and review of electrical layouts, navigational light and helideck lighting systems while managing inter-discipline interfaces.
  • Coordinate electrical routing with piping, structural, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Oversee development of cable schedules, equipment schedules, load lists, and material take-offs.
  • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and lead model review meetings.
  • Support construction and commissioning teams by responding to site queries.
  • Ensure optimization of electrical equipment locations, cable tray routing, and installation access requirements.

  • Direct clash detection and resolution activities through Navisworks and Smart Plant Review.
  • Review redline markups and prepare as-built drawings.
  • Lead offshore site surveys, brownfield assessments, and field-verification activities.
  • Review existing installations and identify engineering constraints and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate incorporation of site survey findings into engineering deliverables.
  • Support brownfield modification and tie-in projects while minimizing operational impacts.
  • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, model reviews, and design reviews.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hazardous area requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and audits to ensure consistency and technical excellence.
  • Review vendor information and ensure integration into project design deliverables.
  • Approve as-built drawings and design modifications.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in oil and gas onshore and offshore or industrial projects.
  • Experience in FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, or brownfield projects.
  • Extensive experience working on offshore platforms, substations, or process facilities.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
  • Software experience: AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA E3D, Smart 3D (S3D), Navisworks, Smart Plant Review (SPR).
  • Good understanding of electrical concepts and three-phase power calculations.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • OPITO-approved BOSIET/T-BOSIET certification.
  • Offshore site survey and brownfield assessment experience.

Qualifications
