Procurement Executive
Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Procurement Executive to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process and working closely with internal project teams and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with project and operational requirements.
- Manage the full procurement process, including sourcing, quotation comparison, supplier coordination and order follow-up.
- Liaise closely with project teams to understand purchasing requirements and delivery schedules.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules and other commercial matters.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation.
- Support other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- Candidates with relevant experience in the machinery manufacturing or engineering industry will be advantageous.
- Able to manage procurement activities independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational, communication and coordination skills.
- Good command of English, as the role requires communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Stable employment history and a responsible working attitude.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Rest Days
- 8 days per month
