Procurement Manager (AI Compute)
You manage end-to-end procurement for AI compute hardware and software, develop suppliers, negotiate contracts, secure GPU allocation, track market trends, manage cross-border risks, coordinate compliance reviews, maintain procurement records, report performance, and support technology project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier development, RFQs, benchmarking, negotiation, contracts, delivery, and after-sales support
- Develop partnerships with OEM, ODM, and channel vendors
- Secure GPU allocation, production priority, discounts, and supplier governance
- Track compute hardware and EDA software markets
- Control spending and achieve cost-reduction targets
- Mitigate cross-border delivery, customs, and licensing risks
- Draft procurement, subscription, and maintenance contracts
- Coordinate legal compliance reviews
- Maintain procurement archives and submit monthly reports
- Coordinate with technology teams to deliver AI computing projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, International Trade, or a related field
- 3–5 years of Asia AI compute or data center procurement experience
- GPU server and EDA procurement experience preferred
- Familiarity with ODM supply chains, hardware BOM structures, and EDA licensing models
- Ability to analyze quotes and lead bundled negotiations
- Experience negotiating multi-million-dollar procurement contracts and framework agreements
- Experience with software licensing agreements
- Ability to manage multiple long-term procurement projects
- Communication skills for commercial negotiations and contract drafting
- Understanding of AMEA cross-border trade regulations, hardware imports, and software licensing compliance
