Procurement Manager (Garment)

Responsibilities

Assists the MD in expanding the business and implementing strategic sourcing plans in Southeast Asia.
Product support and development, along with gathering design concepts for clients.
Analysing consumer data, preferences, and market conditions to suggest and create a variety of merchandise.
Prepare presentations on current products as well as new collections or developments working alongside the sales team
All kinds of merchandising issues with factories and customers.
Support the business team by managing licensees for goods sales:
Preparing quotations
Responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure timely delivery
Delivery Tracking
Help identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for all products.
Relationship management between buyers and suppliers and negotiation of contracts
Achieving revenue targets for goods and services
Prepare report
Collaborate closely with the Business Team to identify business opportunities
Coordinate with the Creative Team to develop concepts and monitor the creative process to ensure the quality and timely delivery of merchandise
Ensure the provision of high-quality service by setting and upholding organizational standards.
Maintain budgetary control over all expenditures

Requirement

Min. degree holder with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement (supply chain management in the garment industry)
Ensure the delivery of superior service by establishing and maintaining organizational benchmarks.
Excel in problem-solving, demonstrates proactivity, possesses self-motivation, is highly organized, operates efficiently, and can perform well under pressure.
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and excel as a collaborative team member.
Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
Possessing global or, at a minimum, regional experience that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the complexities, cultural nuances, contractual frameworks, local practices, and regulatory environment of the Asian market.
