Procurement Officer

Our client who is a leading mining house is currently looking for a Procurement Officer to add to their experienced and dynamic team.

Requirements:

Commercial Management, Supply Chain or Procurement Degree or National Diploma,

CIPS would be advantageous

5 years’ procurement experience within the mining industry

2 years’ managerial experience within the mining industry

SAP experience

Understanding of CAPEX

Understanding of TCO

Compiling tender documents and proposed contracts

Preparing and coordinating the adjudication of tenders within mandate

Negotiating skills

Proof of cost savings
