Job Description
You will be responsible for leading the strategy, evolution, and adoption of our Design System as an internal product, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in the development of our digital solutions.
For this, we expect you to go beyond traditional product management, working cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, and Product teams, acting as a key player in defining standards, governance, and the strategic direction of the platform.
You will also play an important role in connecting with global teams, ensuring alignment, sharing best practices, and the continuous evolution of the Design System at scale.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the Design System
- Support as a PM on the DS in a practical way, building components and documentation for designers
- Support the design and tech team in the migration of other products that have not yet adopted the DS
- Ensure the continuous evolution of the platform, considering team needs and business impact
- Establish and evolve Design System governance (contribution, versioning, and adoption)
- Work in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Product teams
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, efficiency, and user experience
- Define and track success metrics (adoption, consistency, team productivity)
- Conduct squad ceremonies with internal stakeholders
- Act as a facilitator between local and global teams
- Communicate decisions, strategies, and results clearly to different audiences.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Product Manager (mid-level)
- Experience with Design Systems, internal platforms, or developer-focused products (B2D)
- Strong prioritization skills and strategic vision
- Experience with continuous discovery and agile methodologies
- Communication and influence skills in complex environments
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of UX/UI and close collaboration with design teams
- Familiarity with front-end engineering concepts
- Intermediate or advanced English, with the ability to read and understand technical materials, participate in meetings, and interact with global teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Design Ops or structuring Design Systems at scale
- Experience in creating frameworks, libraries, or internal tools
- Experience in global and multicultural environments.
