Product Manager / Director, Core Trading
You will design and evolve core exchange-trading systems spanning order management, matching, margin, risk, lending, borrowing, spot, and derivatives. You will define product direction, build monitoring and data capabilities, research competitors and market needs, and lead delivery from specification through launch. You will also design and ship multi-step AI agent workflows for the domain, including tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
Responsibilities
- Design core exchange-trading systems across order management, matching, margin, risk, lending, borrowing, spot, and derivatives
- Design systems that meet high regulatory requirements with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams
- Research traders and competing crypto and traditional-finance systems to inform product decisions
- Build data and monitoring capabilities for the trading stack and broader industry
- Define the three- to twelve-month product direction based on lifecycle, competition, and capacity
- Lead delivery from specification through launch by aligning engineering, design, operations, and marketing
- Design and ship multi-step AI agent workflows using tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, physics, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience building sophisticated backend systems in crypto or traditional finance
- AI-native skill set focused on automating workflows
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- Strong interest in trading, blockchain, and the financial industry
