Customer Market Insight Act as the voice of the customer for downstream bioprocessing applications, translating customer needs and operational challenges into product requirements and priorities. Conduct customer discovery activities, including Voice of Customer interviews, application reviews, process observations, and data analysis. Develop compelling customer value propositions based on key drivers such as risk reduction, process efficiency, compliance, and total cost of ownership. Monitor market, competitor, and regulatory developments to inform product strategy, positioning, and growth opportunities. Product Strategy Portfolio Management Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of the Downstream Processing portfolio from concept to end-of-life. Develop Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), support validation activities, and oversee field trials. Define portfolio positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies to drive market adoption and profitable growth. Lead new product proposals, business cases, launch planning, and go-to-market execution. Identify opportunities to leverage synergies between single-use technologies and WMFTS hardware solutions. Commercial Performance Manage portfolio profitability through pricing, margin management, segmentation, and growth strategies. Monitor portfolio performance, including sales growth, profitability, win/loss analysis, product vitality, customer feedback, and lifecycle metrics. Drive continuous portfolio optimisation, including rationalisation and end-of-life management. Equip sales teams with value-based selling tools, training, and customer success evidence. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales to deliver high-quality products that meet customer and market needs. Act as the primary Product Management contact for manufacturing sites and external production partners. Support lifecycle, supply, change management, and customer-critical issues across manufacturing locations. Represent WMFTS at industry events, conferences, and technical forums, strengthening market presence and customer relationships. Key Deliverables Delivery of the product portfolio strategy and five-year roadmap. Product Vitality Index performance. Sales growth and profitability of assigned product ranges.
