Product Manager

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Product Manager to build user-facing products that impact tens of thousands of life sciences professionals. Our mandate is to compress drug and device development timelines from months to days. You'll own one of the core product areas shaping the Valkai platform, working across the end-to-end drug development life cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own a core product area: Set the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of Valkai's core product areas.

  • Build 0-to-1: Take new products and features from the ground up, launching early versions with customers and iterating on how they actually use them.

  • Understand how the work gets done: Learn how regulatory writers, safety reviewers, and medical affairs teams do their jobs today, and translate what you find into opinionated product decisions.

  • Hold a high bar for craft: Partner closely with design and engineering to ship polished, AI-native experiences that pharma users trust with high-stakes work.

  • Prioritize and measure: Weigh customer impact against technical feasibility, instrument the metrics that show whether a capability is working, and use them to shape the roadmap.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Thoughtful problem solvers: You break unstructured customer challenges into concrete product plans, and you think critically about both business impact and technical feasibility.

  • Builders who own outcomes: You take pride in what you ship and hold yourself accountable for the value it creates, adoption, time saved, ROI, not just the feature shipping.

  • Not ideological about solutions: Every solution is a tradeoff to you. You learn new AI capabilities quickly and stay receptive to better ways to solve customer problems.

  • Strong communicators: You convey complex technical concepts clearly to both non-technical and highly technical audiences, including recent AI developments and executive stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You turn loose goals into concrete roadmaps and execution plans, and you create measurable impact without waiting to be told how.

NICE TO HAVE

  • 3+ years of product management experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.

  • Hands-on experience building AI-native products.

  • Experience building in life sciences, healthcare, or other domains requiring complex systems thinking.

  • Experience shipping products where craft and polish matter.

BENEFITS

  • Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents.

  • Generous PTO policy.

  • Paid parental leave.

At Valkai, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
