Product Manager - Value Base Care
Responsibilities:
1. Define product strategy: Lead
the development of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for value-based
care solutions within the platform, aligning with organizational goals, market
trends, and customer needs.
2. Define and document product requirements in-line
with the product vision and business goals: Whenever needed, translate high
level product vision into actionable user stories, ensuring
that product features are well-defined, user-friendly, and aligned with
industry best practices.
3. Act as a Value-Based Care
Subject Matter Expert (SME): Provide expertise and guidance to internal teams
conducting product research, serving as a resource to help teams gain knowledge
and insights related to value-based care models.
4. Market analysis and customer
insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer
interviews to identify market opportunities, understand customer pain points,
and gather insights to inform product strategy and feature prioritization.
5. Develop detailed customer journey maps to understand user
interactions and identify opportunities for enhancing the user experience.
6. Product roadmap planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key
initiatives, milestones, and deliverables, balancing short-term priorities with
long-term strategic objectives.
7. Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to align
product development with marketing, sales, customer success, and engineering
teams.
8. Feature prioritization and
backlog management: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product
features, user stories, and enhancements based on business value, customer
impact, and strategic alignment, ensuring that backlog items are well-defined
and actionable.
9. User experience design: Work
closely with designers and user experience (UX) experts to create intuitive,
user-friendly interfaces and workflows that optimize user engagement,
efficiency, and satisfaction in value-based care settings.
10. Agile development leadership: Serve as the product owner, as needed,
within Agile development teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog
grooming, and daily stand-ups, and providing guidance to the development team
on feature implementation and delivery.
11. Develop and implement
change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new features and
updates by customers and internal teams.
12. Product launches and go-to-market strategy: Lead product launches and
go-to-market initiatives, collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer
success teams to develop messaging, collateral, and training materials, and
ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
13. Product performance analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs)
and metrics to measure product success, analyzing data and user feedback to
identify opportunities for improvement, optimize product features, and drive
continuous innovation. Leverage advanced data analytics tools to derive actionable
insights for product improvements and strategic planning.
14. Regulatory compliance and quality assurance: Ensure that products comply
with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and quality
standards, collaborating with legal, regulatory affairs, and compliance teams
to mitigate risks and ensure product integrity and security.
15. Stakeholder engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and
external stakeholders, including customers, partners, executives, and industry
experts, fostering open communication, transparency, and collaboration to
ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
16. Act as
a SPOC for all product related asks/queries to all internal teams, strategic
partners, clients, commercial teams.
Requirements
1. Minimum
5 years’ experience in US healthcare product management with a strong focus on
value-based care and population health management.
2. Deep
understanding of value-based care models, payer contracting, and healthcare
programs (MA, MSSP, ACO, ACO Flex), including Star Ratings and bundled
payments.
3. In-depth
knowledge of clinical quality measures (HEDIS, NCQA, PQRS, eCQM, MIPS).
4. Familiarity
with care gaps, coding gaps, diagnosis gaps, and risk adjustment methodologies
to optimize value-based care outcomes.
5. In-depth
knowledge of EHR/HIE systems and integration.
6. Strong
business acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities with proven
success launching/managing healthcare software products.
7. Excellent
communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
8. Experience
working in Agile environments with proficiency in product management tools and
practices.
9. Analytical
mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and product performance
measurement.
10. Knowledge
of healthcare regulations and compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
11. Understanding
of BI/reporting tools with ability to design features that translate into
actionable dashboards.
12. Proven
experience in designing and delivering LLM-powered features, with strong
understanding of applications, limitations, and integration into healthcare
workflows.
