The Team:
The Planning Solutions team, part of S&P Global Mobility, is dedicated to delivering high-quality data solutions tailored to our clients' needs in global mobility markets. Responsibilities and Impact:
Help design and implement data pipeline architectures to support high-volume data processing and analytics for global mobility markets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data product requirements and develop scalable solutions that meet client specifications
Monitor and optimize dataset performance, ensuring data quality, reliability, and timely delivery to stakeholders
Support the development of data validation processes and implement best practices for data governance within the new Planning Solutions platform
Provide technical help in troubleshooting complex data issues and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency
Contribute to the evaluation and integration of new technologies that advance our data capabilities and support business growth
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar data-focused roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data solutions
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and automation
Experience with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL platforms (such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra)
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
Experience in the automotive or mobility industry with understanding of market data and analytics
