Best Buy Canada’s Service Center, based out of Brampton, ON, is looking for Product Testers to join our amazing team!
As a Product Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer‑returned and refurbished products meet our quality standards. You’ll work hands‑on with the latest consumer electronics—testing, diagnosing, and preparing products to return to a saleable condition. You’ll also support technical, logistics, and material‑handling tasks that help keep our operations running smoothly.
Availability Requirements
Monday to Friday + some Saturdays (Day Shift)
32–40 hours per week
6‑month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
Due to business needs, shift schedules may change.
What you’ll do as a Product Tester
Test a variety of consumer electronics, including laptops, desktops, game consoles, mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, and speakers.
Perform secure data wiping and diagnostic checks on returned devices.
Unbox and re‑box products to ensure they meet Best Buy’s saleable condition standards.
Operate pallet jacks safely to move products between workstations and storage locations.
Use Windows‑based systems and internal software to track product status and location.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with material handling and other operational tasks as needed.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.
What we’re looking for
High School Diploma (required)
A strong personal interest in consumer electronics
DIY repair, troubleshooting, or hardware testing experience—major asset
Ability to work with Excel and learn new computer systems
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs, with bending and twisting as required
A positive, team‑focused attitude and willingness to help where needed
Commitment to safety and accuracy in all tasks
