Program Aide (Beacon After School)
Intro/Program Description: Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) is a well-established Manhattan community-based organization that supports services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Program Description: Beacon Community Centers are in public schools throughout New York City and serve youth from kindergarten through age 21 and adults ages 22 and older, including Older Adults. Beacons operate year-round on non-school hours, weekdays, evenings, weekends and in the summer as a resource to the entire community by offering integrated programming tailored to local needs. During the summer, Beacons collaborate with the New York City Public Schools for the Summer Rising initiative.
Position Summary: Program Aides work with Office Manager, Coordinators and Director to ensure the office is managed smoothly. Includes data entry, record-keeping, correspondence, escorting, monitoring and supporting Youth Groups.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, September 1, 2026, through June 18, 2027, Between 2:30pm to 6:00pm or some evenings 6pm-9pm, up to 20 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $19.00/hr
