Program Analyst, Elder Abuse Prevention | Time for Grandparents Program | Chermside

  • Employment Term: Permanent Part-Time (30.4 hours per week)

  • Location: Chermside

  • Remuneration: $53.43 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team

We’re looking for a skilled Program Analyst, Elder Abuse Prevention, to support our Older Persons Programs and contribute to initiatives that address elder abuse, social isolation, scams targeting older people, and issues impacting grandparents raising grandchildren. In this rewarding role, you'll combine research, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to help improve outcomes for older Australians.

Reporting to the Local Service Manager, you will:

  • Analyse and interpret complex data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop reports, statistical profiles, presentations, and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Coordinate data collection, quality assurance, and reporting activities across Older Persons Programs.

  • Lead data analysis and reporting for organisational, contractual, and public-facing reports.

  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcomes for older people.

  • Support community education and awareness activities focused on elder abuse prevention and healthy ageing.

  • Provide specialist advice and referral guidance relating to elder abuse, social isolation, scams, and other issues affecting older people and their families.

What makes a difference for us?

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Services, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience using statistical software, including Stata, and data visualisation tools.

  • Strong research, data analysis, and reporting skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and delivering presentations.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.

  • A collaborative approach and proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.

  • A current Driver Licence and Blue Card
