JOB SUMMARY

As a key liaison between SEU and Kingsky, the Aviation Program Coordinator manages day-to-day communication related to student progress, academic coordination, and program operations. This role requires the ability to navigate complex situations, balance institutional priorities, and exercise sound judgment while representing both the university and its aviation partner with professionalism and integrity. The coordinator collaborates closely with Kingsky leadership, Student Financial Services, the Business Office, Academic Advising, and other university stakeholders to ensure seamless program operations and effective problem resolution.

As a key liaison between SEU and Kingsky, the Aviation Program Coordinator manages day-to-day communication related to student progress, academic coordination, and program operations.This role requires the ability to navigate complex situations, balance institutional priorities, and exercise sound judgment while representing both the university and its aviation partner with professionalism and integrity. The coordinator collaborates closely with Kingsky leadership, Student Financial Services, the Business Office, Academic Advising, and other university stakeholders to ensure seamless program operations and effective problem resolution.


The coordinator holds responsibility for overseeing student flight and ground training funds, monitoring account balances, and proactively identifying potential financial barriers to student progression. This includes coordinating fund allocations and adjustments, maintaining accurate financial records, and communicating clearly and timely with students regarding required actions. The role demands attention to detail, discretion with sensitive financial information, and the ability to make informed decisions that support both student success and program compliance.


In support of student success, the Aviation Program Coordinator provides academic coaching, guidance, and advocacy for aviation students enrolled in SEU degree programs. The coordinator assists students in navigating academic policies, training requirements, and progression timelines, while addressing concerns related to flight training delays or program challenges. Acting as a trusted advocate, the coordinator works across institutional and partner systems to resolve issues and promote continuity in both academic and flight training pathways.
The Aviation Program Coordinator also plays an integral role in program operations and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include supporting scheduling, data tracking, reporting, student onboarding, and orientation processes, as well as maintaining consistent communication with students and faculty. The coordinator contributes to program planning

ADDITIONAL/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES

All remaining duties are considered "nonessential" within the context of the ADA, which means that the function could be reassigned to another employee in order to allow a disabled individual to hold the position. Alternatively, the manager could try to provide a reasonable accommodation so that the disabled individual could perform the function.
