Program Manager/Campus Manager - Data Center
Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of a major data-center campus programme in Jutland, Denmark — from master planning through design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and handover — managing a team of project managers, contractors, and consultants to hit safety, schedule, cost, and quality KPIs.
Location: Jutland, Denmark | Start: ASAP | Contract: Long-term
We're looking for a Program Manager to take ownership of a major data-center campus and lead it from master plan to handover. You'll run the whole show - construction, infrastructure, utilities, and enabling works - as one connected programme, not a pile of separate projects.
What you'll do:
Lead the programme. Own the campus delivery strategy end-to-end: master planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
Lead the people. Manage a team of Delivery and Construction Project Managers, plus external consultants and contractors - keeping quality and standards consistent across the board.
Own the numbers. Track performance against safety, schedule, quality, and cost KPIs, and act fast when something's off track.
Keep everyone aligned. Work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and the wider development team so the programme runs transparently and nothing gets lost between teams.
Manage risk head-on. Spot issues early, approve corrective action, and keep governance and HSE standards tight throughout.
What you'll bring (requirements):
Experience: 10+ years leading major capital projects or complex construction programmes - large-scale data centres or mission-critical facilities a strong plus
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
Expertise: Data centre construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), commissioning & operational readiness, programme controls, commercial/contract management
Languages: Fluent English required; Danish a plus
Track record: Managing multiple projects, teams, and major contractors within one integrated programme
Why this role:
You'll be the person who turns a complex, high-stakes build into a well-run, on-time, on-budget reality - with real authority to make decisions and shape how the campus comes together.
