The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to join us at Fulton Hogan Nelson, in our road maintenance team managing the state highway network as a part of our integrated Delivery Contract (IDC). This is an exciting opportunity reporting to the Operations Manager, IDC. As the Programme Manager, your core role will be to ensure our programme is agreed with the client and delivered in the required contract timeframes, whilst also collating, processing and presenting claim information.

Role Accountabilities

  • Ensuring the maintenance program is coordinated and presented to the client, including maintaining our 3-12 month rolling programme
  • Budget forecasting for the contract to provide the client expected expenditure
  • Work with Operations and Renewal Managers to;
    • Ensure reports, claims and programmes are prepared and submitted correctly and in a timely manner
    • Ensure staff are provided with the correct information and guidance to maximise performance and efficiency
  • Ensure the delivery of all work meets the programme KPI’s and QA requirements

What you’ll bring to the table

  • NZCE or QS or significant industry experience (Diploma in engineering or relevant industry)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Relevant experience with financial and analytical reporting, processing and claiming
  • Planning and executing effective road maintenance programs
  • Current class 1 drivers’ licence
  • Can do attitude and willing to give it a go
