Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Development team. In this role, you’ll help ensure donations and grants are accurately tracked and used according to donor wishes, gift agreements, and hospital policies.

The Project Coordinator will support the Director of Development Services and work closely with departments across the organization to monitor restricted funds, coordinate gift expenditures, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate donor and financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Track donations, grants, restricted funds, and related expenditures.
  • Ensure donated funds are used appropriately and in accordance with donor and grant agreements.
  • Work with department leaders and account coordinators to determine how available funds should be used.
  • Assist departments with purchases, vouchers, and the release of funds.
  • Reconcile gift accounts and identify or report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date gift records in Raiser’s Edge and the hospital’s accounting system.
  • Prepare reports showing the status and use of donations and restricted funds.
  • Communicate with departments when major gifts, endowments, or grants are received for their areas.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a systemwide gift-monitoring process.
  • Coordinate projects related to gift resources, including timelines, budgets, scope, and progress tracking.
  • Assist with other administrative and behind-the-scenes Development functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; five years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using Raiser’s Edge.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with financial information, budgets, reports, and account reconciliations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to review agreements, interpret requirements, and solve problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with departments, leaders, vendors, and other business partners.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
