eSimplicity is seeking a Project Financial Analyst III to join our growing team. This role provides administrative and general financial support across our portfolio of government programs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting federal clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets for federal government contracts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts.
- Track contract funding, expenditures, and revenue recognition.
- Analyze program financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and contractual requirements.
- Complete project setup actions in the accounting and timekeeping systems; update as needed to reflect project or contract modifications.
- Monitor indirect rates, labor utilization, and project profitability.
- Prepare financial data for customer reviews, audits, and contract closeouts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, including: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), as applicable
- Assist in proposal pricing, cost estimates, and basis-of-estimate development.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and government requirements.
- Support invoicing activities, including documentation, validation, and timely submission.
- Participate in financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Reconcile project costs and ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
