What You'll Do
Lead the Operation
- Manage the day-to-day performance of assigned contracts, following ROM guidelines and contract specifications
- Build staffing, work, transportation, and building schedules that meet contract requirements
- Track completed and outstanding work, spot productivity trends, and keep things on schedule
- Step in as backup APM whenever needed
Champion Quality & Safety
- Assure a consistently high level of service quality across the board
- Resolve quality issues at the root so they don't happen again
- Run internal safety training and keep safety procedures sharp
- Maintain and update the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) book
- Complete and maintain CPR/First Aid and OSHA training
Develop People
- Support the ROM in hiring, evaluating, and managing your team
- Build sustainment and leadership training so supervisors grow into their roles
- Coordinate vendor training on chemicals and equipment
- Give employees real, useful feedback to help them hit the mark
- Partner with HR and outside job coaches to support employees with disabilities
Keep the Business Running
- Oversee floor care and maintenance scheduling
- Track staffing, work schedules, and daily time records with your APM
- Manage attendance, hours, and labor budget for accurate payroll
- Order and track supplies within budget
- Manage uniform standards, inventory, and appearance requirements
- Maintain property, chemical, and key accountability — and keep facilities secure
Be the Bridge
- Build strong, positive relationships with government facility staff
- Represent the team in meetings with government, facility, and customer reps
- Bring ideas, solutions, and recommendations to your ROM
- Be available within 1 hour during work hours (2 hours after-hours) to respond to the ROM/COR
What You Bring
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
- 5+ years managing a workforce on a contract of similar scope and size
- Solid knowledge of building service management, equipment, and chemicals
- Familiarity with green cleaning practices and CIMS certification standards
- Comfort with electronic tracking systems (MAXIMO, SAMS, TAMS, JAMS)
- Working knowledge of SDS, fire/safety, hazard communication, and bloodborne pathogen regulations
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license (held 3+ years) with an acceptable driving record
- Must be 25+ to drive a 15-passenger van
- Flexible schedule availability, including emergency response as essential personnel
