Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (TPM) to lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance initiatives across our operations. This role is critical in driving operational excellence by improving equipment reliability, increasing uptime, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will provide strategic leadership, manage end-to-end project execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure TPM principles are embedded effectively across the organization.

  • Lead end-to-end TPM project planning and execution (scope, schedule, budget, resources)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across maintenance, operations, engineering, and production
  • Drive implementation of TPM pillars (autonomous, planned, quality maintenance, early equipment management)
  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, uptime, maintenance efficiency) and implement performance improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, corporate requirements, and industry regulations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks (schedule, cost, operational, technical)
  • Lead change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
  • PMP (or equivalent) preferred
  • 4–10+ years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or TPM project leadership
  • Strong knowledge of TPM principles, maintenance systems, and UPTIME methodology
  • Proven skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
