Project Manager
Field-Based (4 days per week) / Home-Based (1 day per week)
Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm/ Friday - 9am - 4pm
£55k - £60k per annum (Depending on Experience)
Overview
As Project Manager, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle, including:
- Conducting site feasibility assessments and producing project recommendations.
- Managing design development with architects, planners, franchisees, and consultants.
- Preparing tender documentation and coordinating procurement activities.
- Appointing and managing contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Monitoring project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety standards are maintained.
- Managing project risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Coordinating statutory approvals, Building Control requirements, and compliance documentation.
- Leading project handovers, snagging processes, and post-project reviews.
- Supporting refurbishment and improvement projects across the existing estate.
- You'll be a confident project professional with experience delivering construction, fit-out, refurbishment, or property development projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction or fit-out projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery, contractor management, and construction processes.
- Experience managing budgets, programmes, and project reporting.
- Understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP or similar).
- Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
- Experience within franchising, retail, hospitality, childcare, leisure, or other multi-site environments.
